Acer TravelMate 8481 was designed to combine the performance of a top of the range security of your data and a battery that can last a long time, all packed into a compact and thin. The processor is an Intel Core i7, and graphics found in Intel HD 3000 graphics with vivid colors and intense, thanks to the Intel Wireless Display to show photos, presentations or high quality video directly on your TV via a wireless connection. There is also a choice of NVIDIA Optimus with support for multiple monitors.

As for memory, there is the combination of HDD and 320GB Solid State Drive (MSAT) 64GB, DDR3 8 GB. The display is a LED backlit LCD Acer ComfyView HD 1366 × 768 16:9 13-inch. The notebooks, in all, it weighs just 1.5 kg with 4 cell battery. In addition to WiFi and Ethernet port are also a USB 3.0 port, while outside there is an impact-resistant houses.

The TravelMate 8481 was announced for mid-June but was postponed in late August for the launch. For now the price is only known to England: £ 699, or about € 800.
